mount external harddrive (more beer to dev to help out!)
I just ordered a female usb a to male usb b-mini adapter thingy. Good deal there, once it comes I should be able to plug in my 120 GB usb hdd (power to hard drive and to nokia yes i know, got it covered! can't wait though cause it's gonna be awesome)
Anyway I'd love to get a home app or status bar app (and well to be honest i would love to have it in the cpu monitor thing [like how the list processes option is]). Well what this would do is like the user-mount tool for other systems. Basically read fstab entries and let you mount/unmount the sd card and usb stuff but read from fstab so you don't have to go in and type in all the paths to /dev/whatever-usb-node-is. I have no idea how to do this, and once more beer to the dev to take a crack (and complete) at it! I'm on 770 btw. |
