Someone please tell me how to download and install real player on nokia n900 or is there any way to play .rm songs

Package - Extra Decoders Support should allow playing of RealMedia files - no intention of searching for .rm files to test though.

Yes, this is the one possibility.
The second - use Format Factory - you can convert any video file to .avi and mpeg4. You can even add subtitles.

if you are ok in converting the videos to another format then just convert the videos to .avi or .mpeg4 format and you can play the videos on your N900 withhout adding any extra app
