Wierd Problem, Volume Keys Stopped Working
 

My volumes keys suddenly stopped working this morning, the keys still work fine for zooming in the browser and the screen lights up when they are pressed, but when listening to music the volume keys dont do anything, basically theyve lost the ability to change the volume.

I havent got any software installed that should interfere with the keys so I dont know whats up, hopefully a solution other then reflashing will help.

Hi, I've got the same problem. It just appeared about a week ago. Have not installed any new software or hacking. System volume can not be changed and phone volume. Rocker buttons work fine in browser and/or camera zooming. Worst part of this is that phone volume is set to a quite low level wihch makes conversations so hard to hear.

Anyone has any suggestion?

As a temporary solution (not sure if it even works) try alsamixer -c0 and adjust the values...

If you mess up with them, a restart will put them in default.
