Website issues, easily fixable

1. Please redirect users to the post/thread they were at before logging in, it's a pain having to copy the address every time. Right now one is being sent straight to the main page.

2. Allow search terms which consist of 2 characters, there are plenty of relevant 2-letter acronyms. I don't understand the 3 char requirement at all, pretty annoying at times. E.g. one cannot search for "QT" which is pretty ironic, since QT is considered the soon-to-be major framework of Maemo / Meego.
"3G", "N9", the list goes on.

Thanks

always always always use the power search. its well known the normal search is a bit sucky on here. two letter strings work along with other functions.

fair enough, you can always administer your own custom search using another search engine, otherwise its weak-*** search for you my friend, with the functionality there in power search already i doubt fixing the normal search will be high on the agenda, i may be wrong of course!
