Getting Annoyed?
 

Is it me or has this latest update pr1.2 got more bugs in it than a cheap hotel room in Lanzerott? A couple of not so annoying bugs have ben replaced by really annoying ones. It takes ages for my alarm & clocks to come on the screen, it takes years to uninstall an app, there's a wierd glitch when someone calls you, i can't get fmms to work now, and not only the bugs but some things were much better before like the way you searched an app, the old onscreen keyboard was better because i keep hitting enter instead of delete. Some of the changes are pointless and i'd sacrifice the ones that arn't for the old firmware. Is it at all possible to downgrade because i had no problems before and now i hate using my phone.

did u flashed ur emmc with pr 1.2.. i dont know wats the issue wid ur device bt mines is working too gud.. infact i didnt find ny reason to overclock after the 1.2 update.. things are coming along pretty nicely.. if u hav issues wid particular applications then i would recommend you to visit there respective threads.. m sure there are many intelligent brains in this community :)..

Its just you :P.

- i like the new keyboard.
- alarm & clocks works fine to me (i can shut it down before my family hear it at morning 5am)
- Someone calls me and i can pick up. i get bothered by the autorotate function, but that was as is before pr1.2 too :P
- uninstall app is ok for me, so i think that your uninstall app has some wrong
- fmms, it works for me

and... you can downgrade by flashing BOTH rootfs and emmc with the old firmware

It's not recommended though, since you'll break the Qt 4.6 dependent applications.

I would just try re-flashing PR1.2 (rootfs and eMMC) before downgrading.

i have already tried it a few days after pr1.2 but my phone didnt recognized my sim card.so i flashed emmc too(on pr1.2)and everythink was ok.only my browser crashes sometimes and the incoming call glitch is really annoying too.but all else is pretty nice;)

absolutely right!!!
at the first 1000 whining threas i thinked ahh ok but now its annoying.i think ppl should realise that at 85 percent of them there phone didnt work because they made somethink wrong.like nokia says:this phone is not for everybody......

Yep! I know wht you mean. Why can't it look like the physical keyboard?

Same as #4 - Downgrading is likely that third party apps might not work as their dependancies all are PR1.2 compatible.

I've had my phone for over 5 months now n loved every minute of it because it never crashed, no glitches n fmms (which i use every day) always worked. This is the phone for me thats why i got it, but i'm just saying that, or asking if i'm the only one experiencing these little problems since the upgrade? i'd honestly go back to old firmware if it was easy enough. It doesn't multi task as well neither. I know it seems like i'm just moaning but i love my phone n wouldn't change it for any other so was hoping that i'm not the only one and maybe something would get done about it.

There are many users, so you can always get someone to support you with any complaint -- that doesn't mean there is merit in it.

Obviously, there is something wrong with your setup. I would list my problems (not here, for yourself) and reflash, including eMMC. Then, before restoring the backup, I would see if the problems still exist. My bet is that they don't. Then I would slowly put my system back together, watching to see if the problems return.
