lost symlink
after deleting a file from usr/bin
and then putting the file back to usr/bin the file has lost its symlink as shown in properties it was symlinked to maemo-invoker now its not can anyone help me symlink this again? already tried lots of xterm commands but the file is still not symlinked:mad: |

already tried that bro, file is still not symlinked
the xterm output keeps giving me: ln: rtcom-messaging-ui: File exists |

Read your PM :P
If file exists, then you have to delete it, if you want your symlink back... A symlink contains no information except the "pointer" to the linked file |

honestly i must be thick for not noticing!
had to delete the file! then it worked! im enjoying all this linux stuff, a few days ago i was terrified of it all thanks again mate! problem solved |
