phonelocator for nokia n900?
 

¿have anyone of yours tried the software phonelocator for symbian? I contacted it´s creator: alex birkett. I asked him about a phonelocator version for maemo5, and this was his answer:

Hi, I will consider doing a maemo (meego) version if demand is high enough.

I am sure Alex will be extra keen to help out a community that just published his email account for all the spambots to see.

I really don't think it is fair to publish his e-mail address to put pressure on him.

Nobody should be pressured into doing something they don't want to do.

yes. you´re right; but he doesn´t said "I dont wanna do it" he said "I´ll do it if demand is high enough" and I thought that the only way to let alex know how high that demand is, is writing to his mail.

about publishing the alex birkett mail: I was wrong, I shouldn´t have did it. my mistake.

Please don't propose people to use this app.

As you know it is buggy and the development has no signs that will be continued. :(

Really unfortunate since the developer had the potential, skills and really nice ideas.
