Joiku Spot running a old configured hotspot auto
 

I had this weird experience yesterday when joiku stop on my N900 somehow started a wlan hotspot on its own.


So basically a few months back when i got the joiku spot , i configured a network and later on when I updated the app, i created a different SSID.
All of a sudden, yesterday, my ipod connected itself to the old ssid( old SSID configured on joikuspot) which was somehow running on its own, without even starting the app.
"sudo ifconfigwlan0 down" didn't help much and eventually I had to uninstall the app cos it was draining the battery way too much.

Anyone had the same problem? or maybe know how to debug it as in what is causing that?
