Ovi Map satellite overlay disappears and constantly downloads data.

Does anybody else have this problem when they zoom in near enough?
The picture actually updates with the high resolution version for a split second when you zoom in. Then the overlay disappears (just shows yellow screen) and "downloading data" keeps flashing at the bottom.

Yeah I've seen that, just accept that Maps is rubbish and cross your fingers that it gets updated soon.

Have you tried uploading maps via new Ovi Suite? it works very well but still no proper navigation :(

New Ovi suite? Didn't work for me, just said that either my N900 doesn't support maps or they are corrupted.

I'd assumed that meant it didn't support the N900 (yet...?)

no it does and works fine

look for 2.2.0.245 , that's the lastest version and it supports map upload without voice navigation
