WiFi problems following move form O2 contract to Vodafone PAYG
 

Hi i need some help im a big newbie to the n900 i had it on o2 contract but now i have a vodafone payt sim in it getting no luck with wifi atall
. anyone know of any software to fix this.. please

Was the contract finished? I got mine on o2 PAYG, from CW, who unlocked it prior to shipping. When I stuck an Orange PAYG sim in it all worked OK. Put the O2 sim back, as my 6300 doesn't work that well without the Orange SIM, even thought I had it unlocked. I'd expect the mobile internet to not work if the settings weren't right under the settings for that - but not sure how that would affect the WiFi side. But, I'm pretty new to the phone.

The only SIM/wifi interaction I can think of is bug 5699. Is your access point on a channel > 11 by any chance?
