Qt, Unicode, fonts and Maemo 5 (on N900)
I have made a Qt app (modification of Qt-maemo-example), which tries to display Unicode character ⊂ in the QTextEdit. The character is shown, but it ignores the FontPointSize. Letter "S" doesn't ignore it; but this character "subset of" ignores the fontpointsize completely.
What can I do about it? Maybe, I need to install a font which would be more able to support Unicode characters? Best regards. EDIT: Qt notices font just as soon as I put it into ~/.fonts directory. An application can install a font here, if the font is deemed necessary by application developer. |
