Finally got around to getting the n900
 

Hi, have been a user of the n810 for the last few years and to be honest, a bit reluctant in replacing it with the n900 because of the screen size and not wanting to pay £400 sim free or take out a contract with another mobile phone company.

Found one secondhand online in a shop nearby for £260 unlocked and sim free, so was interested, took an old sony dvd camcorder that haven`t used for a few years and the old n810 along with me in case there was any value that could be exchanged.

Got £70 off the n900 with the camcorder and £33 with the n810, so only cost £157, so thought (although reluctant to sell my n810) i`ll go for it.

Have to say am very impressed with the n900 - ok the screen is smaller, but i`ll get used to it, and i`m only carrying around one item instead of n810 and a mobile phone all the time.

Got the hang of things within a day so am very happy with it - although i wouldn`t have paid £400 (£500 when first released) for it.

The way I see it, you have basically bought yourself a computer comparable with an 486 from way back, only better, because more up to date with modern technology. What? It might actually define modern technology!

Having bought it so cheap only adds to the cool factor.
