accidentally deleted the shortcut to Conversation..how to add to desktop
 

I accidentally deleted my shortcut to conversations from my desktop but i am unable to add it to the desktop again.

tired to use shortcuts but it doesnt show up on the list.
Please help!

Did you delete it by jut pressing the x-mark in the editing-mode? Have you tried restarting your N900?

add widget, not shortcut! That's where you will find it

maybe you already have the shortcut on another desktop... on mine there are two shortcuts for conversation and once I used them all up nothing shows up when I try to add another shortcut

thank you all.. yes i deleted using the x but amazingly the widget? appeared on the first desktop view (it was on my 3rd desktop view initially)

Thanks its back to normal now..

Just wondering if there is a way to lock the desktop from accidentally invoking the edit desktop.. pressing and holding on the desktop sets the edit state and things can go wrong if youre having the phone in a soft pouch or pocket.

Yeh for some reason widgets on first use will appear on the first desktop. It is rather annoying but after that initial one it remembers the last location :)
