n800 release date?
 

Just wanted to confirm about when the N800 was released. Thought it was pretty new, but then read some conflicting info. Just want to make sure I'm not buying something that is bound to be replaced within like the next 3 months. Thanks!

I think it was released at the beginning of this year. + - 1 month. If you get a good working set, then it should be fine for another 6 months at least. If you get a faulty set and send for repairs, then it can take 2 months to get looked at (from experience of at least one of the members here).

there is obviously going to be a next internet tablet. They won't just stop at two models, as Nokia already know N800 faces problems still so their market will repidly go down without improving upon the problems.

I think the next model should include better Webcam 1mp+, Better default apps, increased memory.

If not then Internet tablet series was just a gimmic for marketing like "fashion phones"

would love to see a better cam on here 1mp with a small flash would be fine for me , as well as 2-4 hard buttone on the right side for game use. would also like to see built in ability to add icons for programs to the desktop
