No more sound over GSM, only Voip works!
 

Dear Maemo Community,

I have since 2-3 days the issue that I can't hear any sound anymore when I call someone (Or get a call). Also the microphone doesn't works when I make a normal GSM call. Enabling the loudspeaker doesn't fix the issue also.

I Installed no apps anymore since 2 weeks, the problem appeared without any reason over night.

Voip (For example Skype) is working just fine! So has someone a idea how to fix this issue or debug it?

I would do a full backup to SD card or to a PC and then reflash both the Vanilla and EMMC images to clean the phone.

Once that is done before restoring everything make a phone call.
If that works do your restore. If it doesn't you have some hardware problem.
As you don't say if skype works over WiFi or GSM, can't say if you have a GSM transmiter problem or not.

I flashed it 5 times already because of strange issues which appeared suddenly. I will not flash this phone again!

Is there a alternate possibility except throwing it finally in the trashcan?

I got out by the way what was causing my GSM call issue, its the nasty application called "Auto Disconnect". I removed it and now everything works fine again. Seems that it is also disabling the GSM connection somehow?

Ah, interesting, don't use it as I like my phone always conneted, atleast on Wifi, not got the best data package. Glade you got it fixed, perhaps a bug report should be filed against it.
