about blessn900 app for the camera
 

anyone ever tried it? seems soo good i somehow i think its fake.
if anyone can actually give feedback ill appreciate.

It's not "fake" in that it exists and it is a working app, though in my experience the quality of the photos produced ranges from really bad to horrible. I certainly can't achieve anything at all like the examples shown on their website.

Standard N900 camera app produces far superior photos for me.

Crucially, blessn900 is not a replacement for the camera app., instead offering 3 enhanced modes: low light, 2x telephoto & HDR. IMO the low light is the most useful and works better than the built-in camera application. The HDR mode produces somewhat washed out results but the image can serve as a basis for editing in for eg. AnselA, an editing package available in extras-dev. I think blessn900 improved over at least 2 updates since introduction and is worth watching.

I've tried this but I just get mangled pictures. Something going wrong with the processing.

yup, tried it too, kinda sucky, i like more the photos taken with the original camera program
