Unable to install applications
 

Hi all

If got this n900 new out of the box and so far i love it.
But now i tried to install apps and every time i do so, it downloads the app but just when its nearly finished installing it, it says "unable to install."

I searched the web and found this link http://mynokiablog.com/2010/01/05/fi...error-on-n900/
But in this resolution i have to download/install Rootsh witch failed because of the same problem. " Unable to install 'rootsh' "

Hope somebody has an resolution to my problem cause i really like to use the full potential of my n900.

I'd suggest reflashing it. It shouldn't be necessary, but sometimes the factory image doesn't seem to have been installed properly.

can you apt-get install rootsh without root access?

Nope, you need to be root to run "apt-get install".
