Out-of-focus spot in pictures
 

I have a strange issue with the camera, I'm suspecting a hardware issue but want to double-check here before consulting Nokia (bought it over the internet, so can't just take it back to the shop).

At first I blamed focus problems, but I got the impression this only happened in the middle of the picture. This afternoon, I finally managed to shoot a picture that illustrates the problem.
As you can see below, the upper middle part of the pic is blurred (looks out of focus), but on the sides the focus is better for the area at the same depth.

Strangely enough, many times the pictures are ok, so I'm a bit puzzled, ideas are welcome....

mmmm but did you checked the lens cover? it might be dirty :)
