Open up the top status menu

Bluetooth -> Devices -> New -> Find your headphones -> 0000 as PIN (normally, see your headset manual) -> Pair.

Mate its the same you set it as a headphone cause in the end its just sending audio signal. Works fine with my Blueant M1. Just do as 'liranuna' instructed its correct.

If it needs a USB key to be plugged into a pc, then it will not work with an N900.

From Bose website:

"Simply plug the small USB key into your computer ..."

Maybe you had mistaken itunes for iphone? Unless you bolt some hardware onto the iphone I doubt you can plug a USB dongle into it.

Or maybe the iphone has an app for it. (That's an attempt at a joke BTW)
