[Request] Smart Touch adaptation/port
 

There is some program written for symbian using python and it's under GPL. It was written for 5800 and it's nice application. It allows you to control your computer in many diffrent ways (mostly media but also more)
The home page is here (but it's in russian, to download the source - just go to Downloads -> 3rd row(Исходники ...) -> link ("скачать") .) It works with windows, other guy ported server part for ubuntu(linux) as well(depends on python-bluez, python-pyatspi, python-notify).

Here is some video preview and also i wonder if it's possible to port it to maemo5 as it's been an open source.

I'm sure someone could port it. I like how they use the proximity sensor for mouse control.
But have you tried VNCviewer on your phone and VNCserver on the PC that way you can see the PC's screen on the phone screen.

Yeah we need something like this esp. sense bluemaemo doesn't install anymore

Bluemaemo works just fine for me under PR1.2.
