Question on Flashing to a Firmware !
 

Apologies if this question has been answered before but I really need to know this. After one flashes to the Global Version of PR 1.2. is there any kind of difference in UI, OS any discrepancy any issues in the Look and Feel of the OS, UI ? Will it the same as it is before Flashing, except for it would have the SKYPE Video call feature. Will there be any difference in the UI, Look and Feel of the Operating System.

Not really no. Some nice flashing thingy on the application switch icon and thats about it

I flashed to Pr 1.2 global version just last week and there is no difference. I only did it coz my n900 told me it needs to be fresh again after the various apps i've installed and uninstalled. Yup my n900 speaks with me. But on a more serious note, the only change is the version number :)

So from what you are saying do the Icons appear different after Flashing from what they would appear before Flashing...WOAH Thats Shocking, scaring !!
