Cannot connect to Ovi chat
 
Is Ovi chat down or am I having local problems? All IM-accounts connect, except for Ovi. "Network error". Anyone else?

Ovi chat down for me since yesterday.!!!!

I thought it is something related to my account. but it seems there is a server problem. or they stopped a free concept for this account?!!!

Thanks ahmoda. At least now I know it's not on my side. ;)

Strange there doesn't seem to be one single web page in the whole Nokia/Ovi-empire that informs us about such a long downtime. (Or is this one of the useful pieces of information we're supposed to get via My Nokia?)

I have the same Problem. It seems Nokia has changed something on his ovi service. I am able to connect to Ovi Chat using PSI or Trillian. But it takes much longer than usual to connect. Maybe it is at timeout problem.

EDIT: It takes between 20s and 30 s to connect.

interesting. i tried with empathy on my ubuntu laptop now... same as on the n900, it gives me an error. i'm not sure if i can change the timeout setting somewhere... need to check.
