App. Manager doesn't trigger internet.

Right well, if I click update it just has that checking for updates bar etc. I have to go on say google to trigger 3.5g then search, same with when I click download that loading circle just spins over and over hypnotic. Pain in the arse, any ideas?

In "Settings" > "Internet Settings" is "Connect automatically" set properly?
