FLAC and Cpu Usage
Hi guys.
Well the question is simple... i am using Flac on my N900.. i know that Flac = More Cpu usage = less battery..but the load applet shows very less Cpu usage....is that correct? PS : I love the FLAC support on N900..just love it! :) sorry if this is a lame question..but i always wondered flac kills the processor and all  |
Re: FLAC and Cpu Usage

Re: FLAC and Cpu Usage
its a common problem in flac files.
maybe this line helps you, but it implies to modify your flac files . metaflac --add-seekpoint=100x --add-seekpoint=1s *.flac i dont know why, but several common flac libraries in linux cant seek a flac file without seek points, even if they are optional. hope this helps |
Re: FLAC and Cpu Usage
:) !
Hmm alright i'll test that soon... Also ive noticed using the command alsamixer -c0 we get the control panel in which the Headphone is at 88. How can i default it to 100 24x7... i manually change it to 100..and if i change a song or unplug my headphones it reverts back to 88!... somehow the sound is less compared to my other Mp3 players. Edit : i tried that metaflac command..in Xterminal.. it didnt work...says not found ... |
