Help required to build package??
 

Hi,

I am a student and wanted to write my own app for my cell (N900).
I am using Nokia QT SDK. I am able to build and deploy the app on my cell. However I am facing two issues :-

1. The data files (binary) are not copied to the cell. When I manually copy the files in the folder, the application works fine. If I declare them as resource files then they are copied but i can not write to them. :(
2. I am facing issues regarding creating an application shortcut automatically from the .deb .

Please help me as i am new to C++ and Qt environment

I did everything according to the documentation....However dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc -us -sa -D produces .deb only for i386 not for ARMEL.

Do i need to install scratchbox?? or can i do it using Qt SDK??
