How do I oc the dsp? (I Tried search & wiki!)
 

Sorry guys, but I spent nearly an hour trying to find the answer by myself.

I need dsp power since I found out that the flash plugin supports hw acceleration, but it doesn't have the grunt to process even 320p youtube videos :(
I have enhanced kernel and setting installed. currently using lv kernel @ 1100 mhz, but I haven't figured out to oc the dsp as well.

does it really support hw acceleration? wasn't it a new feature of flash 10?

Scroll down to "Configuration files" and there's an example. You have to either create a new one or edit your current settings (lv***). The DSP clock is the number furthest to the right for each clock speed


Example: "500:48,360" It's the "360."


NOTE***

It suggests that you don't edit any of the default settings but rather create a new one.

EDIT: Any chance you could tell me how to enable hw acceleration?

Just video acceleration via dsp. Came with the most recent fw. Just tap'n'hold over a video to call up flash menu and enable it. At least megavideo runs smooth now. Youtube didn't have any improvement though.

I suspect that hw accel is only for scaling to fullscreen via SGX.
