Problem updating
 

Hey all!
I'm having trouble updating maemo 5, when I select the update from the updates menu I get:

"To update your device to this version of the operating system you must use the nokia software update application on your PC. Connect the device to your PC via a usb cable and launch the application"

I don't understand... I dont have the nokia software application on my PC. and I have no idea what to do, there arent many search results with the same solution.

Any help?/Suggestions?

Download & install it, run it and follow the instructions.

u have dev apps that prevent u from update

flash or nsu

You probably have too much in your rootfs. Check this link http://wiki.maemo.org/Free_up_rootfs_space and make sure you have (iIIRC) 56mb free and then it should update OTA.

there is wiki on this website. search for howto update there, cause there are a lot of ways to do it and each one has own wiki + issues
