From intomobile/cnet,

Galaxy Touch has 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi, FM radio, DMB TV, GPS, and a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen .

Glad to see it. It looks like it won't take SD cards, which is a shame. I hope Nokia and other MeeGo hardware manufacturers pick up on the basic idea: give us a phoneless pocketable tablet.

I'm going to wait and see what other contenders there are over the next half-year; but this definitely is a contender for me, even if not perfect. In fact, for me this is better than anything I know of that's currently available or even rumored.

looks like a iphone with samsung wave hardware to me!?
also, isnt the YP-model name for samsung mp3-players? does this one come with phone-capabilites?
and how is this any more of a mediaplayer than the regular galaxy s, except for the tv-functionality?

questions questions questions...

More like an iPod Touch than an N8x0 device.
Pass.

Why do you care about no frame around screen?

Got to admit, I always liked the pocketability of the iPod touch; just didn't like the smaller screen, the lower resolution, and being locked out of the file system, none of which seem to be problems on this Samsung.
