Maemo mapper: Generating profiles from track files offline
I've been using maemo mapper (and just recently sent Gnuite another small donation), with gpsvisualizer.com I can make graphical profiles directly from the track data.
I am thinking that a Python script to make those .png profiles would be very useful when offline. I use the 770 in areas without network most of the time. Any other maemo mapper user already done this and willing to share? Otto |

Answering my own question...
http://trac.openstreetmap.org/browse...tracks/gpx2svg A script written in ruby to convert gpx tracks to svg graphics. Written by 'steveŽ? http://maemo.mmapps.net/ What seems to be the latest port of Ruby for the Nokia 770. Haven't tried it yet. Since the 770 browser supposedly supports svg-tiny, this should work with minimal editing. Otto |
