when i enter sudo hcitoolconfig it asks for a password does anyone know what the password is.

su to root if you want to use hcitool. If you want to run hcitool from the regular user account, you have to edit the /etc/sudoers file (as root).

could you explain this a bit more please about the edit part also have you used blueserial.sh
