There is an app with Shazam functionality available for Maemo: Instinctiv.

The version from Ovi store doesn't have this feature yet, but see the Instinctiv thread here in the forum to get a more recent developer version with the music identifying feature.

You can also record your tune with maemo recorder, then upload it to http://www.audiotag.info which hopefully will tell you artist, album and title.
