Reboot loop after HDRcapture install
My last 10 reboots always finished successfully, and during that time, no new software was installed.
Earlier, I installed HDRcapture and I remember seeing a prompt about Fcam drivers saying that they would only load after the system reboots. A few moments later, I had to take the system down because I needed to change battery (no AC power is available to enable me to perform the hot swap battery trick in case anyone asks). I then realized that the device was in a reboot loop. Can anyone tell what went wrong? I'll try to see what I can do with it after I make this post by uninstalling packages installed by the hdrcapture install and the package itself using SSH access via USB recovery mode. By the way, I am using Titan's Kernel Power. |

Re: Reboot loop after HDRcapture install
BTW, as an unrelated question, is there a way to make the device power off during a reboot loop, with the battery intact? I am unable to switch the device to a flashing mode with this behavior.

Re: Reboot loop after HDRcapture install
Quick reply.
I don't know a way to power off the device during reboot loop without taking the battery out. Though you could try pressing power key between volume and camera... I would suggest. Take battery out. Wait 2-5 seconds. Press down 'u'. Plug in USB PC cable. Wait 2-5 seconds. Put the battery into the device. Check that phone is in flashing mode ('Nokia' screen with USB symbol in top right corner). |
Re: Reboot loop after HDRcapture install
That's what I did. It works now. Fortunately, I only had to flash the kernel.
