Re: N900 screen stop responding
Press ctrl+shift+x to open terminal.. then
1. sudo gainroot 2. pkill hildon-home Don't do this too often.. it can make the widgets to not load. So you need to put them back manually. |

Re: N900 screen stop responding
next time, do the "reboot" technique :D
most of lagging problems are quite solved with a reboot, if not effective, read AIMehdi's post :) |
Re: N900 screen stop responding
Did you guys read his problem properly? The edges work fine, but not the middle. Sounds like hardware problems to me...

Re: N900 screen stop responding
and the strange thing is that we were 8 people in my home and in a half an hour 3 devises crash . First was a camera which couldn't close , we had to remove the battery , after 5 minutes was the HTC mobile of another friend with a restart it was fixed and after 10 minutes was my N900.
it was like GREMLINS ATTACK . I think i will have to take it to customer care service , So bye bye my precious for at least one month. |
Re: N900 screen stop responding
haha that sucks man. we had a crazy storm here 2 days ago, it could have fried everything in my apartment at once. lightning kept hitting everything, but nothing happened. anyways, definitely take it to nokia if you have warranty, although i couldn't resist opening it myself :P
