EMail retrieval (or: lack thereof . . .)
 

I have my N900 set up to retrieve mail from a POP email account.
Everything works fine - at least, it used to work fine.
Recently, the unit has not retrieved email, even though there was some mail on the server.
It is set to update automatically from my POP account using WiFi - I have a strong WiFi signal at home.

When I change the "Update Interval" say from 10 minutes to 15 minutes, it will then retrieve whatever mail is on the server - one time only.

There also seems to be a problem with the email being removed from the server, even though "Leave massages on server" is clearly checked.

I don't know if this problem has anything to do with PR 1.2 - it started some time after I updated from PR 1.1.

Just for something to do, I set up a second email address on the N900 - on a different server.
It does not work any better - sometimes it will retrieve the email; mostly it won't, even though it tells me "Last updated HH:mm"

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

i think the email app is very bad, mine works w both wlan and line data, but sometimes take some time to show mails that are in the server or sometimes wont send the mails... i think someone should develop another so we can use it :D
