Android 2.2 on HTC HD2
Damn it's so smooth.. I wished it was as easy as this for an alternate platform on the N900.

Re: Android 2.2 on HTC HD2
Yeah. Pretty much everything works. My friend has it running on his HD2 and it's so useable that he's been using it as his main OS for past few days. I really hope we get to that stage soon on our N900.

Re: Android 2.2 on HTC HD2
Always loved the HTC HD2, Its price just won't go down or I'd get one.
There is the sea of ROMS, PSX emu and a not too chabby Android. Our N900s PSX has gone cold. But if our Android gets 3G/Calling and an easier installer, things will be much better. :) |
Re: Android 2.2 on HTC HD2
I think stability counts alot. Seeing that video it can easily pass as a native OS if demoed to anyone and its still work in progress so the bit of choppiness will get ironed out. Would love to see how the app market on it performs.

Re: Android 2.2 on HTC HD2
I could have sworn i saw a video last week where the author of Nitdroid or someone working on the project had 3g working. They just haven't released it yet.

Re: Android 2.2 on HTC HD2
This is really a great evolution that HTC HD2 Windows Phone had a significant price drop and now someone who wants to purchase that phone get early to purchase it... And this is a very good news for any consumer.HTC HD2
