Formatting N900
 

What's the best way to remove all my personal information and all the data on the phone because I plan to sell my N900 and want to make sure that I totally clean it out before selling it. Help is very much appreciated and a big thank you beforehand!

flashing with the newest firmware.

flash the eMMC and OS will erase everything.

I thought flashing firmware doesn't make you lose data.

How do I flash the eMMC?

Also, have you guys manged to get your contacts to sync with outlook? My N900 refuses to :|

Check the wiki HERE for updating the firmware and flashing the eMMC.

In terms of syncing with Outlook, download the latest Ovi Suite and you should be able to sync with that - I have and it works fine with Office 2007.
