How to make icons compatible with N900
Hi guys
How do I make the icons compatible so it shows in Maemo? I tried everything but I can't get my own icons showed in Maemo. If I rename Icon=general_fok to Icon=foreca_weather.png The icon get showed so I know the script I use is right. So how do I get the png files compatible so it get showed? |

All you need to do is the icon u want with an extension .png and keep it in the right directory. That works for me. Make sure the size of the image of icon is not too big else it wil mess up your menu :D.
TC and yeah you need to specify the full name in the .desktop, like you said.. ICON = xxxx.png .png is needed there |

Could you tell us what you are trying to do and where? Sounds more like a rights issue than a compatibility issue. |

Sorry for late reply. I'm really busy
Anyways I'm trying to make a widget that opens Opera and goes to a specific domain. I've uploaded the .png to /opt/usr/share/icons/hicolor/64x64/hildon When I change the name of the .png in the script and change it to foreca_weather it work but my icons won't work :( |
