Re: ut (unreal-tournament) port for n900
Someone can port this (if it hasnt been suggested already)
http://openut.sourceforge.net/ why dont you do some searches? People been talking about UT2003 to be ported to other platforms.. |
Re: [Request] ut (unreal-tournament) port for maemo5
Well, I'd like to see the first Unreal on maemo. Or be it, UT'99.
Why? Unreal, as a game or engine, is incredibly modable. I know that cos I'm doing some mods for that game (big ones) and that kind of conversion would really pay off. It's a powerful engine, game content and the easyness of UScript makes it a perfect platform for inventing new games for Maemo OS. Sorry for digging out that old topic, but I love that game and I have n900 for like a week... And I really would like to see UT on my little beautiful baby... yep. |
Re: [Request] ut (unreal-tournament) port for maemo5
Sorry but I don't think full UT'99 source was ever released so it can't easily be ported. Maybe some day, it really is an awesome game...

Re: [Request] ut (unreal-tournament) port for maemo5
There's partial release for modders. The lack of Engine and Core /scr can be a problem. But everything else is downloadable - UT432pblscr I guess. Tho, there are releases of UT for Linux with these two files as '.so... I'm not a programmer, so I can't tell more.
