N900 and SIP issues not signing in.
 

Hi folks, I just wanted to know if any of you may have some more examples of the SIP to Asterisk configurations on the Nokia N900 Client side. I have set up SIP-based Telephony gateway and the following are my settings:

Address: 12345678*12345678
Password: 122345678
Username: 1234568*12345678
Transport: UDP
Outbound proxy: <Gateway IP>
Port: 5060
Discover public address: unchecked
Loose Routing: checked
Keep-alive mechanism: Auto
Lepp-alive period: Auto
Auto-detect STUN: checked

Unfortunately, it still says 'Not signed in'.

Have any of you guys had experience with this? Greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have registered to this gateway successfully via Counterpath SIP Client, but can't replicate via n900.

I guess I will have to try Asterisk client instead, hopefully will work :). Anyone have experience with SIP issues?

You could try debugging any sip issues using syslog. There is some information in the wiki about installing syslog and setting up debug variables.
