How to built a propper package from python?
Hi all
Ho do I properly built a package from my python applications? There is Py2Deb and PyPackager. According to the wiki, I can not use PyPackager if I want to publish the package on maemo.org. So the only way I know (and is documented) is Py2Deb. However it seems that the project is abandened :( It is suggested in the wiki to change to PyPackager, but as mentioned, thats not possible. The other thing is, I would like to use bretty names (http://wiki.maemo.org/Packaging#Pretty_names), but Py2Deb seems not to support that. How do you built your python packages? |
