[Request] Renaming Songs/Albums/Album Covers in Media Player
 

Ooh this is my first post here. Finally decided to make an account:D

SO, I am kind of a perfectionist, and I like my things, especially my music library, clean and named properly. However, some album names, song names and covers are mixed/wrong. Well, I'm just wondering, is there an app/way to correct these?

Download mussorgsky for your N900. Works top for me.
Put in a bit of time but your data comes out quality.

I was told devel isn't safe... And I'm not that good with coding etc.

Is it safe?

One more question. Downloading from repositories online, is it always the same?

Please rephrase. Do you intend downloading from repository.maemo.org from its web pages? Because, yes, it's the same package you get from the application manager.

Exactly. I downloaded the .deb file, and then, it said that I'm missing something called "python-mutagen"

-devel is like an entry layer for untested/new/developer programs, that then get fixed and promoted through -testing to -extras. in theory! advice was to stay away from devel if you dont know what your doing. in practice all the cool new and useful stuff is in devel. you've been told there are risks, i assume you're an adult. the decision is all yours my friend.
