MediaTomb - UPnP MediaServer for n900
 
Hey.

I'm trying watch videos/images from my n900 with my upnp-compatible TV. On my desktop/laptop I use MediaTomb for it, but I couldn't find it on n900's repositorys, so I searched for in on forums and found this for N770.

I tryed to install it, but it's missing depency: libid3-3.8.3.

Any idea how to fix this?

Not sure what your requirements are but I have used "rygel" on my N900 as a UPNP server.
It has worked well for me.

I tried rygel earlier, but my TV doesn't recognize it for some reason :(

I got it working :)

If anybody is having problem installing it, you can install it like this:

Shame nobody's compiled an updated version of Rygel (even if they are unstable builds)

I get a segmentation fault though whenever I try to add a source in Media Tomb.

@laasonen, thanks, that worked for me just fine. MediaBox didnt work for me with XBMC as renderer, but now with this and Zhaan, I can play audio on my phone on my HTPC. Great!

It works OK for me.

FUPPES is also a good and well performant option for DLNA server.

It has configuration/start/status interface via web, also.
