touchscreen replacement from ebay
 

Hello
I just notice today that my screen has a big scratch :eek: :mad:
I always was very careful but somehow this happened...
So after the shock I read the service manual and fond out that there isn't any protective glass to change. So I need a touchscreen replacement. cheapest price i found was 50€ *shock*

Typing "n900 touch screen" on ebay I found a 18€ Touchscreen. :D
Anyone of you bought one of those? Do you think these are fakes? I would hate to spend 18€ on something that is not working as the original one.
And I need to change these damm expensiv screws...

Another option would be to use some wet sandpaper and to polish but I'm realy worried that this would damage my touch screen :rolleyes: The bad thing is that i have the sandpaper just around :D :rolleyes:

I haven't bought it yet but i am thinking about it if it gets much worse. (i am not so careful)
anyway £24.95 seems like a pretty good price to me.

I also ordered one from the UK.
That was original. From China. xD Like other parts of N900. It was about 48Ł.

And it works better than the original one.
