Hildon-Input-Method... Nokia N900 Woe...
 

Hello all,

I have been looking around the net to find out more information about the Hildon-Input-Method and found this site. So I have joined to get some wisdom from the experts!

For the past 4 days this process has been hogging all my processor time and it is costantly running at 100% according to the Top command from the Xterm, this is the thing causing the problem. I know I am not the only one to have the problem. But there seems to be very little in consistancy with my case and that of other people.

Can anyone tell me what this is? If and How I can remove it? Or how to limit it's processor usage?

I have flashed the handset but haven't done the eMMC yet.

I am genuinely concerned that this issue is going to screw up my phone. I fear the processor will burn out or something...
