media Player request: delete file and entry from .m3u
 

Simple feature request: After listening to podcasts I want to delete them.

The simplest way would be to add 2 choices to the menu that results from a long press of a playlist entry:
...Add to now playing
...Set as ringing tone
...Remove Playlist entry {edits .m3u leaving file}
...Remove File from device {deletes file and removes playlist entry}

Should be simple, right??

The media player is closed source.
Only nokia can add new features for this
component.

Should not be too hard to write a custom media player widget, though, that offers these things.
Or a simple custom command button (queenbee widget) that grabs the currently playing file to remove it.
If anyone ever writes something like that... post it? :p
