[help needed] Overclocking and NITDroid

Dear friends

I have a little problem. I had overclocked my N900 yesterday to 250-1150 mhz range with "Enhanced Linux kernel for power users (settings)" using Jakimans guide to overclocking

http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=774

Then i had installed the nitdroid using the auto installer package and slept .. waking up in the morning, I found out that the Nitdroid had successfully been installed and running.. but latter i found out that the overclocking is no longer available on Maemo end .. I cant use the commands to overclock neither finds a way to reinstall the custom kernel using the "deinstall kernel" package and following this thread

http://wiki.maemo.org/Kernel_Power#Deinstallation

Although I had tried to manually deinstall the kernel and reinstalling it, but its not working now... Can nybody help me on this..

Regards

the problem you got you need to install kernel-power booting for mutiboot
go to your terminal and enter
code:
sudo gainroot
then
code:
apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg kernel-power-modules
then when it finish install tip in this command
code:
apt-get install multiboot-kernel-power
then you finish just reboot you will see it in multiboot

Had this issue today despite following the wiki instructions, augustthe's instructions worked perfectly.

Many thanks. :)

Re: [help needed] Overclocking and NITDroid

Which would be the apt-get install instruction for the titan power kernel? Cause with the app manager one cannot re-install apps (or if yes, I ignore how).

Edit: found, apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-flasher

After that (I had all other programs already installed), reboot, but nothing changes. I have two options in multiboot (maemo and nitdroid), and the one of maemo cannot be overclocked.

The desired situation could be to have multiboot with nitroid, maemo and maemo-overclocked.

Any help?

Finally,

apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-flasher
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power-bootimg kernel-power-modules
apt-get install --reinstall multiboot-kernel-power
power off
init

The three versions appears in multiboot. Happily :D
