Nokia n900 problems/solutions
 

alright so i have a few problems with my n900.
1.My onscreen keyboard doesn't work . Its been enabled in the settings.Doesn't work at all.
2.I can't do any symboles ex:!@#$%^&*()>/> nothing like that i press the buttons but nothing come out. My keyboard is in perfect conditon. i have no idea how to fix it. tell me the most noob way

Did you install any of the mscim/input methods? Those are known to interfere with the way certain keys work as well as with the onscreen keyboard.

Have you been messing with any of the keyboard maps, and are you pressing the blue arrow before tapping any symbols?
