bluetooth connection vz wireless on lg vx9900
 

I got my lg vx9900 connected to bluetooth, but when i use it, i get a ?user authentication problem?. Please let me know what im doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Have you opened up DUN via the hacks posted in HowardForums? I don't remember the exact steps or link, but a bit of googling here and there should turn it up. It involves getting a copy of QPST and tweaking with the DUN authentication settings on the handset, as I recall.

Typically that's the error you'll see if that's the case.

I've had my tablet working fine with a V3M as well as a 9800. We've a 9900 in the office, but I've not snagged it with which to test.

Yeah I saw the hacks on HF but I wanted to see if there was a less invasive route like on the vx9800. I used to use the 9800 on my laptop and all I had to do was enter 0 in the menu screen and then change some settings with the 9900 there's software involved and I didn't want to brake it or something.
