Problem in desktop menu themes choose file not respond--please help
Hi there
Please I have problem in desktop menu themes choose file not respond but all other work with no problems like Add shortcut, Changing background, manage views ... etc Even if I tried to change the theme from Settings Personalization it dosent work also :( and I have Plastic theme setup its work no problems. I think its come after i nstalled windows 7 theme from extra devel I uninstalled it win 7 theme and reboot not work also Please what to do ? Thnax |

If you have widgets gallery installed, uninstall it and try again.

What dose it mean "widgets gallery" exactly if its a program name i dont have it but if its a description for some kind of programs pleas let me know

You need to have rootsh installed from extras, then type these commands into xterm: sudo gainroot cd /usr/share/themes rm -rf meego rm -rf redmond rm -rf base Remeber to press "enter" after each line. If this doesn't help, then continue reading. You seem to have there also a bunch of themes which aren't even in maemo -repos or they are from devel. I really suggest to uninstall everything and start from clean table (or reflash to wipe the whole device clean). By default you should only have following folders under /usr/share/themes/ (in other words, do NOT delete these folders manually): alpha beta Default Emacs Raleigh default |
