[Q3-2010 Council Election]: Candidate Q&A
 

Hello Maemo Community:

I am holding a Q&A of the candidates for the upcoming Community Council election. I did this for the Q1 election as well, if you recall [1].

The format is a 5 question Q&A, to appear on my blog in time for the start of voting.

I do not have any exclusive right to question the candidates - any community member who has questions of the candidates is free to start a thread on t.m.o and fire away!

I'll update this thread once the Q&A goes live.

Just to clarify dneary's mailing list post about this Q&A (Ref. 1.)

I have already submitted 5 questions to the
candidates, and will publish those with the responses on my blog by
the time of voting start. I will not be organizing questions from the
community and passing those along to the candidates this time around.

For those wishing to ask further questions of the candidates, I
suggest you do so either on the maemo-community mailing list, or this forum, as suggested by my original post above.

Thanks to all the Candidates for their participation. The responses shared similar themes, but I was surprised at a few responses! Good luck to you all in the upcoming election.

The proposed handover of maemo.org should be announced and all candidates should comment on it immediately.

More information on the handover is in the full log, and boiled down in the minutes.

One of the actions next week is to kick off discussion about the rest of the processes that go around it.
